What an incredible day of collaboration and learning with our amazing ASEC team! We kicked off the day by connecting with colleagues and diving into an inspiring session on Trauma-Sensitive Schools, led by our Behavior Support Team, Jennifer and Gabby. Lunch was followed by a refreshing yoga session with DHH Teacher, Joann—what a great way to reset! The Pine to Prairie Drug Task Force then delivered a highly informative session on Home Visiting Safety, an essential topic for our staff. We wrapped up the day with a motivating message from our Executive Director, Tiffany, who sent us off inspired and ready to continue making a positive impact on the students and families we are so lucky to work with. 🌟 #WeAreASEC #StrongerTogether #MakingADifference

🌟 Making Connections Day 🌟 Students and staff from 7 member districts gathered at Choice Fitness in Grand Forks, ND, for a day filled with fun last week. Together, we enjoyed swimming, crafts, snacks, and smiles all around. But the best part? We are excited to highlight Dan Dalchow, Superintendent of Climax-Shelly Schools, one of our member districts, who presented at the MREA Greater Education Summit! Dan joined Tim Lutz (Red Lake Schools) and Liz Windingstad (Willmar Public Schools) for the session "Beyond Borders: Attracting Educators Worldwide." This session explored how school districts are addressing teacher shortages by utilizing J1 and H1 visa programs to hire international teachers. Their insights demonstrated innovative strategies to fill critical teaching positions and strengthen education in Greater Minnesota.
